Every Child Belongs: Practical Inclusion in the Everyday Classroom
How can we make our classrooms truly inclusive—without lowering expectations or waiting for specialist support?
Join Bhavya Arora, Psychologist & Educator, for an engaging, practical session that will help teachers understand diverse learning needs and create more inclusive classrooms.
What Will You Learn?
Participants will learn to:
- Identify observable classroom indicators of common SEN categories: dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum, dyscalculia, and language processing difficulties
- Apply the three principles of Universal Design for Learning to adapt at least one lesson plan within their subject area
- Distinguish between accommodation (changing how a child accesses learning) and modification (changing what a child is expected to learn), and know when each is appropriate
- Use at least four inclusive classroom strategies immediately — including structured peer support, multi-sensory instruction, choice-based tasks, and flexible assessment
- Respond to parents and colleagues using strengths-based language that shifts the narrative from diagnosis to potential
