Mr. Vinod Malhotra, a Management Graduate from Leeds University, UK, and LLB from Faculty of Law, New Delhi, has varied experience in Administrative & Quasi-Judicial Roles. He has been with the Indian Administrative Services in the past. During the said time, he has had the opportunity to be directly involved in various aspects of industrial development and has been involved from grass roots to the highest level of policy formulation at the national and international levels.

He has immense experience in administration at the district, state, national and international level which covers a wide spectrum including negotiating international trade agreements, tax generation and revenue adjudication. As an avid reader and follower of Bhagwat Gita, he has authored 14 books on subjects covering management, leadership and soft skills.

Mr. Shishir Jaipuria is the Chairman of Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions which has been in the field of education for more than 76 years. Presently the Group operates in all the verticals of the education landscape and runs 5 preschools, 14 K-12 Schools, 2 Management Institutions and a Teachers Training Academy. During his career spanning 38 years, Anil Swarup attempted to ‘make it happen’. Born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, he earned his Master’s Degree in Political Science from Allahabad University in 1978 where he was also awarded the Chancellor’s Gold Medal for being the Best All Round Student.

Before joining the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1981, he served the Indian Police Service for a year. He won the Director’s Gold Medal for the best Officer Trainee at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration amongst the officers of his batch. As a civil servant, he held various assignments within both the State (Uttar Pradesh) and Central Government.

As a strategic thinker and an innovative leader, he won several awards and nominations. He has been nominated as one of the Policy Change Agent by The Economics Times during the years 2010, 2012, 2015 & 2016. He was selected as one of the 35 Action Heroes in India Today’s 35th Annual Edition.

He is also the author of the bestseller Not Just A Civil Servant.

ANIL SWARUP

He is now retired from teaching in the UK. During his 38 years of teaching in Secondary schools, he has taken on various roles and management positions but none has taken him away from the love of teaching children and helping other teachers to improve their skills. He is a scientist with a degree in Chemistry and a Teaching Diploma from Sheffield University. He has travelled to many European countries, New York and India in setting up school links during the last 20 years of his teaching. He has been training teachers in India from past 10 years and runs workshops and helps develop the teaching and learning skills of both students and teachers. His interests are many but he loves nature and wildlife, cooking, travelling and meeting people as well as Do It Yourself (DIY) work at home.

An alumna of Lady Shri Ram College, Abha Adams has created an enviable reputation as an innovative educationist. A prolific writer on education and an accomplished orator she has spent over 37 years in education, media and arts management both in India and the UK.

She has been a Features Editor with the BBC and Director of Aditi at the Arts Council. On her return to India she spent 13 years as Director of the Shri Ram Schools, establishing the Shri Ram School Moulsari in 1995 and The Shri Ram School Aravali in 2001. Dr. Rajiv R. Thakur, Director General, Jaipuria Business School is a familiar name in Management Education field having over 28 years of rich experience between academia and the industry. Sarita Mathur is a freelance education consultant offering services to schools, both rural and urban, in India and abroad. Sarita started her career with the India Today group as Assistant Manager Marketing and then after a period of 12 years went on to join the education sector.

Dr Swati Popat Vats, an educator with over 30 years of experience. Dr Vats’ is a name synonymous with Children’s education as the president of the Early Childhood Association ECA – APER and president of the Association for Primary Education and Research. Having set up the Podar Jumbo Kids preschools and daycare Podar Jumbo Kids India chain, Dr Vats is at present the President of the Podar Education Network and Director of the Podar Institute of Education. Sushma Raturi is an enthusiastic professional educator with over 25 years of varied work experience in the field of education. She is an alumna of St. Mary’s, Shillong, who after obtaining a gold medal in her post-graduate course in Public Administration, decided to do her Bachelors in Education to pursue her childhood dream of being an educator. Currently, she is working with the Seth Anandram Jaipuria Schools as Head – Teaching, Learning and Training.

She has a wealth of experience in the academic setting, having worked with some of the leading public schools of India and abroad like The Assam Valley School, The British School, Loreto Convent, Kolkata, The Shri Ram School, Gurgaon, and The Mombasa Academy, Kenya.

She has been with the Shri Ram schools for over 13 years in different capacities, including working with The Shri Educare Limited as Manager Education & Training and, subsequently, as Head of Special Projects (Education) in the SRF Foundation.

Dr. Neeta Bali is a seasoned educator with over 39 years of experience in the field of education. She started her career with Mater Dei School in Delhi as Head of Department, English, and served for over 18 years. Subsequently, she was the Vice- Principal, Apeejay School, NOIDA for 6 years. From May 2008 to December 2014, she was the Principal and Head of School at G D Goenka World School. From January 2015 to May 2017, she headed Kasiga School – a residential School in Dehradun that now ranks among the top residential schools in the country. She subsequently had a brief tenure as Head of Podar International School, Powai, Mumbai, followed by the Directorship of G.D. Goenka World School, Gurgaon- Sohna Road, Haryana, India. Currently she is the Director Schools, Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Schools.

Dr. Bali is an eloquent speaker, trainer and has been frequently invited to speak at various prominent educational conferences all over the country. Her repertoire includes various curricula, ICSE and ISC, CBSE, IBO Accredited programmes – PYP and IB-DP, Cambridge accredited programmes – IGCSE and AS and A Levels. She has spearheaded partnerships with some leading international schools.
